With its origin in East Africa, Swahili speakers spread over more than 14 countries: Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), South Sudan, Somalia, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Comoros, and far as Yemen in the Middle East.
The name “ROYAL” python is due to a legend that many African rulers were known to have worn live pythons as jewelry around their necks and wrists.
The ball python (Python regius), also called the Royal Python, is a python species native to West and Central Africa, where it lives in grasslands, shrublands and open forests.
